Location: Børsen - Copenhagen's old Stock Exchange

The Danish Ministery of Science, Technology and Innovation invites the participants
of DEXA into Børsen, which is one of the old and most impressive buildings
in Copenhagen . It was built by King Christian IV during 1618- 1624. Originally
Børsen was used as a commodity exchange and this is why it is nominated
as one of the first exchanges in Europe.
Guide to Børsen:
Take the metro (direction Vestamager or Lergravsparken) to
Kgs. Nytorv Station. The stock exchange is within walking
distance, next to the parliament building (Christiansborg).

Conference Dinner on Thursday, 25 August 2005, 19.00:

Location: Louisiana Museum

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is situated 35 km north of Copenhagen on the
North Zealand coast in a spacious, old park with a fine view across the sound
of Sweden.

It houses an exquisite collection of modern art by international artists such
as Arp, Francis Bacon, Calder, Dubuffet, Max Ernst, Sam Francis, Giacometti,
Kiefer, Henry Moore, Picasso, Rauschenberg and Warhol.

Every year, the Louisiana Museum shows six to eight major exhibitions of modern
and contemporary art, including classical masters of modern art as well as new
and upcoming international artists.

Exhibitions in August 2005:

12 August - 4 December 2005: Henri Matisse - A New Life

7 June - 18 September 2005: The Architect Jean Nouvel

18 June – 18 September 2005: Michael Bevilacqua.

Louisiana is not merely an experience in modern and contemporary art, but a
congenial reflection of the interplay between art, architecture and landscape. The
park serves as an ideal setting for displaying the museum’s collection
of modern sculptures.

Similarly the prominent museum buildings, constructed between 1958 and 1998,
offer a fascinating background for the permanent collection of twentieth century
art.

Louisiana is situated 35 km north of Copenhagen along the motorway E47 / E55,
or the coast road Strandvejen along the Sound. By train (ask for Kystbanen)
36 minutes from Copenhagen and a 10-minute walk from Humlebæk/Louisiana
Station. Trains from Hovedbanegården (Central Station), Nørreport,
Østerport, Hellerup and Klampenborg every 20 minutes, even more frequently
during rush hours.

For DEXA participants the organizers will arrange a bus transport from CBS to Louisiana
and back to the city. At the registration desk you will be asked by the DEXA Team to sign on
for the bus transport before Wednesday, 24 August
